About Me

A Santo Domingo business leader who has engendered significant job growth at various locations in the country, Fabio La Rosa currently owns and operates the home furniture store Senda and the real estate development firm Grupo Noval, which has built a large number of residential and commercial developments along the east coast of the Dominican Republic,. In addition to overseeing Senda’s furniture production line, Fabio La Rosa handles administrative functions that range from developing custom-made furniture packages for hotels to allocating capital to spearhead a range of revenue growth and new business initiatives. His responsibilities with Grupo Noval revolve around leading a team of around 50 staff members, engineers and architects, in managing land acquisition, architectural design, construction, sales and rentals of real estate projects. To aid in these processes and implement continuous innovation, Fabio La Rosa regularly attends construction and real estate conventions.

Before Fabio La Rosa founded these two companies in the early 2000s, he served as a trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, while working toward a PhD in quantitative finance and financial econometrics at the London School of Economics, which he completed in 2001.
